Word has been received by the Government Engineer that work has been resumed on the Ottawa, Arnprior & Parry Sound Railroad, and that the first ten miles of the western terminus to the inner channel of Georgian Bay will be ready for inspection on the 28th day of this month. The contract for the entire grading to Scotia, a distance of 47 miles, has been given to Mr. E. F. Farquhar of this city, and he expects to have it ready for the rails by the middle of August.
