To operate motor train over Canadian National

An interesting change in the manner of railway travel is being made by the Canadian National System, the management of which announce that a motor train is to be placed in commission on September 30th that will operate between Toronto and Washago, to take the place of the steam train running to Parry Sound, which leaves the city daily at 4.30 p.m. the new train, the first of its kind to be operated in and out of Toronto, will leave the Union Station at 3 p.m. daily except Sundays, and will connect with the Grand Trunk train from Toronto to Gravenhurst at Washago. The new motor train will be operated for the convenience of passengers only and they will be permitted to carry hand baggage with them, but no baggage will be checked for transit on this train, nor will any express be taken. The returning motor train will leave Washago at 7.30 a.m. daily except Sunday. The journey in each direction will take about four hours, including stoppage.
