Letters have been received from our President, Albert Olver, and from Harry Wales in England, Mr. (Lieut., R.C.O.C.). Olver wrote immediately on debarkation and had much to say about British railways. He tells in am amusing way of the difficulties encountered when trying to get out of an English carriage while wearing full marching kit. He mentions that, on the train on which be travelled from port to quarters, some wag in the Canadian forces pulled the communication cord and stopped the train. Harry Wales reports that he is back with the 48th Highlanders, his own unit, after having merit about a year with the Provost Corps in duty in London.
Andrew Merrilees reports that he expects to visit Toronto during the holidays.
