Subway work still progressing in West Toronto.

Just a little longer, it would seem, and the job of solving the major part of West Toronto's grade-separation problem will be complete. One subway has been finished on St. Clair Avenue West, at Caledonia Road; the other, at Keele Street, shown in the upper illustration, is practically finished, as the photograph shows. To be in readiness for the opening of the subway, the Toronto Transportation Commission has constructed a loop on Keele Street, just north of St. Clair Avenue, for St. Clair Avenue cars, which are expected to be routed to Keele Street on completion of the subway. The new loop is shown in the lower illustration.
